Integrated Products – An exciting new direction with Unified Communications

ALE-news

As we move with the times, keeping up with market shifts, fuelled by ever evolving technologies, we are looking forward to an exciting next chapter delivering cloud-centric solutions for our partners and their end users.

Over recent years we have made considerable investment in developing our Cloud-based Unified Communications offering with the GoTo Connect platform from GoTo (formerly LogMeIn). With the exponential growth in the cloud services market, and SaaS leading the charge as the largest market segment, we need to ensure we are not only moving in the same direction as technology dictates, but finding the opportunities that marry well with our System Integrator partner’s target market(s).

Further to this, in our CCTV division, we are now working with Eagle Eye Networks – a global leader in cloud video surveillance. Not only does this expand our scope of CCTV solutions to purse, it also introduces a real convergence opportunity with the Electronic Security and Communications disciplines.

“Our strategy moving forward will be to shift our attention to delivering a strategic and strong portfolio of cloud-based technologies to our partner community. Initially this portfolio will consist of Unified Communications and Remote Monitoring & Management solutions from GoTo as well as Cloud Video Surveillance solutions.

As part of the evolution of the Integrated Products portfolio, a decision has been made to not renew our Distribution agreement with Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise as we dedicate our attention to the cloud-based vendors in our portfolio.

Effective immediately we will be managing the transition of our ALE business and support activities to Auroz Pty Ltd who are well known in the UC market and an existing Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise Distribution Partner.

The Integrated Products ALE team, (Steve, Sam and Brian) will continue to eagerly assist our partner community during the transition of the ALE business to Auroz while they continue to skill up on the ALE portfolio and support processes.

It has been our pleasure to operate as a Value-Added Distribution Partner for ALE over the past 7 years and wish them well in their future endeavours”. – Stephen Johnson Sales Director Integrated Products.
